Frustrating installation processes, unstable and delicate probes that require a lot of maintenance are now a thing of the past! Save time and nerves with our newly developed ATX coaxial probe V2.0, which solves all these problems once and for all.

The ATX Coaxial Probe V2.0 has been developed to offer you a significantly more stable and reliable probe. Thanks to the improved mechanical stability of the probe, you can significantly increase the reliability and robustness of your production processes. At the same time our probes are secured against twisting and have an individually adjustable height suspension.

The use of plug-in probe plates makes replacing the probes effortless and time-saving. This simple assembly predestines our probes for considerably improved ease of maintenance as well as for self-removal.

Universal means: the same mechanical probe can be combined with different amplifiers. Amplifiers are currently available for Keysight NanoVTEP, Teradyne Framescan FX2, Digitaltest OpensCheck and SPEA Escan available.

Probe structure

Each probe consists of the following two main components:

  • Basic unit: The ATX coaxial probe V2.0 is available in three different lengths. The basic unit is mounted in the hold-down or pin carrier plate using a sleeve, allowing flexible height compensation and precise alignment of the probe.
  • Probe plate: Available in three different sizes. It is also possible to customise the probe plates to your respective component dimensions.

Our probes can be extended and universally customised to include the following components for specific test systems:

  • Muxboard: Available for Keysight NanoVTEP and Teradyne Framescan FX2.
  • Amplifier: Available for Keysight NanoVTEP, Teradyne Framescan FX2, Digitaltest OpensCheck and SPEA Esan

  • OpensCheck digital test
Basic unit

 

The basic unit of the probe, consisting of probe cable, plug connection and probe holder, is available in three different lengths:

  • Long (L=64mm)
  • Medium (L=52mm)
  • Short (L=37mm)

Probe plate

We also offer you maximum flexibility with the probe plate. They are available in the following dimensions:

  • 25 x 25mm
  • 45 x 45mm
  • 16 x 80mm
  • In addition, probe plates can also be customised to your respective component dimensions

Installation

The ATX coaxial probe V2.0

The base body is mounted in the hold-down or pin carrier plate using a sleeve. To do this, drill a hole in the hold-down or pin support plate and then insert the sleeve of the probe using the mounting tool. This enables flexible height compensation and ensures precise alignment of the ATX coaxial probe V2.0.

In the example shown here, the probe is installed from above via the hold-down plate. However, it can also be fitted from below via the pin carrier plate.
